HOUSE RULES OF THE KUNSTMUSEUM WOLFSBURG


Welcome to the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg. Our aim is to enable you to enjoy a pleasant and eventful visit to the museum. At the same time, we endeavor to ensure the necessary security and protection of the works of art entrusted to us. This requires certain rules, which are binding for all visitors as house rules. The management exercises the house rules on behalf of the staff. By entering the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, you as a visitor accept these rules:


▪ Admission fees and opening hours are set by the museum. The details can be viewed at www.kunstmuseum.de and on the ticket office screens.
▪ The admission ticket is only valid for one day at a time and is personal.
▪ Smoking is prohibited throughout the museum building.
▪ Touching or touching works of art is not permitted. We ask you to keep a safe distance and respect barriers.
▪ If the alarm devices are triggered intentionally or negligently, the visitor is obliged to reimburse the costs. Visitors are liable for all damage caused by their culpable behavior to exhibition objects, inventory, furnishings and all other objects in the possession of the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg.
▪ Pets are not permitted in the museum. An exception applies to assistance dogs. Visitors accompanied by assistance dogs are welcome in the museum. Please register in advance by phone or email.
▪ To prevent damage to exhibits, we ask you to leave rucksacks and bags as well as thick jackets and coats, poles, umbrellas and similar items in the lockers in the checkroom. Small (max. size 20 x 30 x 14 cm) or medically necessary bags can be taken into the exhibitions. We reserve the right to check bags in this case. This does not apply to medically necessary walking aids, baby carriages and wheelchairs.
▪ No liability is assumed for the checkroom and the contents of the lockers. A replacement fee of €15 will be charged for lost checkroom keys. See also user regulations for cloakroom/locker lockers
▪ For safety reasons, items of clothing may not be worn over the arm in the exhibitions.
▪ Eating, drinking and carrying liquids is not permitted in the exhibition rooms. For the care of babies and small children, please contact the supervisory staff.
▪ Photography in the exhibitions is permitted for private purposes. If photography permission has not been granted for individual works, this is marked with a symbol in the exhibition. The use of tripods, selfie sticks and flash is not permitted.
▪ Out of consideration for other visitors, we ask you to set your cell phones to silent mode.
▪ Teachers, group leaders and legal guardians are responsible for the behavior of children and young people in their company. In consideration of other visitors, we ask schools and kindergartens to eat their breakfast at their assigned locations only after consultation with the guides/checkout staff.
▪ Guided tours by third parties must be registered with the art education department.
